Turners And Mccanns

Edward Turner’s parents were both Irish immigrants who met and married in Philadelphia, and who followed their children to Fort Lauderdale. The dates and Irish places below come from FamilySearch’s shared tree, where each profile cites 10–20 records. They still need to be checked against those records.

The 1940 census gives Margaret’s age as 38, twelve years under her birth date of 1890; the 1950 census gives 46. An Ancestry member tree gives her birth as 12 Jan 1888 in Philadelphia, which conflicts with both censuses; her immigration record should settle it.

Josephine (b. about 1929), John Jr. (b. about 1931) and Edward Charles Patrick (1933–1987).
