To do

  • Confirm Winkenhagen. Find the Glinskis in the Jäskendorf (Jaśkowo) Lutheran parish registers, 1865–1879: Friedrich’s baptism (Feb 1873) and Emma’s (about 1875). Check FamilySearch and Archion for Kreis Mohrungen registers.
  • Fred W. Glinski’s naturalization, or his father’s (Portage County, Wisconsin, 1880s–1890s): it may name the home village.
  • Ernestine’s maiden name. FamilySearch’s tree says “Rudsky” without a source. Look for Fred’s death certificate (Madison, 1940) and Ernestine’s (Amherst, 1912).
  • The first child, Augusta (b. 1867), is missing from the 1879 list; she may have emigrated separately or been listed under another name (the “Ernstine, 5” on the list?).
  • Guy Glinski’s obituary (Fort Myers News-Press, 14 Dec 2013, on legacy.com) for his marriages and children. He probably married a Hazel (Hazel L. Glinski, 1908–2000, also of Bokeelia).
  • James Madison Glinski’s birth (Ypsilanti, 1952) and death. Find his death record and obituary.
  • Flossie’s Holt marriage (between 1940 and 1950): who, where and when.
  • Austin Braswell: his birth, his death (before 1940) and his marriage to Flossie (DeKalb County, about 1935?). Rozell Braswell’s death certificate 12701 gives the date.
  • Jerry Braswell of Smithville: his birth and death, and how he fits in.
  • Flossie’s obituary, Fort Lauderdale News, March 1980: it should name her children and siblings.
  • Back from Jonathan N. Fuson and William H. Pedigo in the 1850–1900 censuses of DeKalb County.
  • Check the FamilySearch tree facts for John Thomas Turner (Wexford) and Margaret McCann (Mayo / Ballaghaderreen) against the records it cites: naturalization papers and passenger lists should give their home parishes.
  • Their 1928 marriage, Philadelphia.
  • The Rossiters and Garbers before 1930.
  • Edward Francis Turner (b. 26 Oct 1963 Philadelphia, d. Colleyville, Texas): death record and obituary.
